During that time well over 1000 hedgehog’s lives were saved. He was deeply knowledgeable about hedgehogs and very passionate about preventing their extinction.

He will be deeply missed by all his friends and followers and his many dedicated volunteers. He was well loved and respected by the local community who admired both his dedication and determination.
Andrew set up Brackley Hogwatch in 2011, and dedicated the last 12 years of his life to the cause. He was the chairman and Trustee when the organisation which was eventually registered as a charity in 2020.
